Since the percentage of Americans who benefit from Bush's deficit-funded largesse is less than the 51% who voted for him last time, the Democrats need to figure out why the others voted that way (mostly security concerns) and what they can offer as a better choice to put a 55-60% total squarely on their side of the aisle.

That's the challenge for the rag tag, incoherent jumble of competing voices now known as the Democratic Party.
