It's safe to say that at the presidential level, neither side is "winning." It's, basically, a 50-50 proposition.

Carter, Kennedy, and Clinton have been the only Dem presidents in my lifetime. [Ed: LBJ, too]

The GOP has controlled Congress for a very long time.

Well, at least you are consistent, no bellyaching from you as to why the Dems have been so unsuccessful.

Numbers don't lie.

The GOP has won 5 out of the last 7 presidential elections.

You may wish to draw out the time frame as long as you wish, but the trend is not your friend.
