Iraq is Bush's Vietnam, a huge mistake, and the most poorly planned war since Vietnam. All the fault of the civilian policy-makers at the top, primarily Bush, Cheney, Rummy and Wolfowitz.

But Bushies cannot totally regret Iraq. After all it enabled them to steal the senate in 2002 and avoid investigations and subpoena powers. It also made Halliburton very rich and helped boost oil prices. So many Bushies are perfectly happy.

2500 dead troops and 17,500 wounded ones are not so happy.
Neither are the American tax-payers who have to pay for this whopper waste of money.
