Carolyn, Yes, "pea green" was one of the dreaded and despised colors. Ford-Lincoln-Mercury euphemistically called it "lime frost." Creative bunch, don't you think?

Judging from our club membership, a lot of people in the late 1960s must have really liked that hideous color or perhaps they got a really great deal at the dealership for buying a car of that hideous color. - Holly

My Gremlin was my first NEW car. It cost $1999.00, and the back seat was optional. It was purple.
