These pictures strongly remind one of the caricatures created by the Nazis before the Second World War. As part of there hate-and-propaganda machine, they often published cartoons about the Jews in their newspapers and magazines. In them, the Jews were drawn as ugly as possible with long noses and frightening appearances. They joked about them and tried to drum into Aryans’ heads that the Jude was responsible for all the evils in the world. Strangely, the European Jews are very quiet these days. Normally they are very quick in condemning anything which is anti-Semitic. Did they maybe forget that Muhammad (PBUH) also was a Semite like them, namely an Arab? Especially the German Jews, as former victims of Nazi racism, should protest as well against these totally disrespectful cartoons. Yesterday it was the Jews, today the Muslims, and tomorrow it could be the Jews again. European governments, journalists, and publishers, with the Danes, French, and Germans in the forefront, regard themselves as the leading defenders of the general freedom of expression. This was proven by the countless interviews and press conferences after the protests by the Muslims against the cartoons. What they were silent about is that even in their countries there are certain ethical laws which limit freedom of expression. Otherwise, child molesters, Nazis, promoters of drugs, and similar people would have open platforms in the West for their sick preferences. Unfortunately, they haven't learned that other people’s religions and dignity belong in the category of things one should not joke about. As everything comes from Allah, Muslims believe that there also must be some good in the cartoon incidents. Small Denmark is now suffering from massive financial and job losses due to the boycott of their products by over one billion Muslims in the world. This could change if Denmark’s prime minister would apologize in the name of his government and his people. But he seems to be too proud and arrogant to do this. Prejudice and racism against Muslims is deep inside him, but he is afraid of letting it all out. Anyhow, the boycott of Danish products will lead Muslim business people in the long term to rethink with whom they should do business. This will result in a complete restructuring of the world economy in which the Western countries will finally be the losers if they don't change their racist colonialist attitudes. Spiritually, the European insults to Islam and Muhammad (PBUH) will only increase the Muslims’ love for the Prophet, peace and blessings upon him, if they haven't done so already. Tehran Times
