CJ, Given the disparity in power, if the countries on top cannot be trusted to be just and equitable, then there is a tendency to try to build alliances to counter them.

Good point. That's what I call the "Survivor Factor." If you're the big fish on a reality show, you will get voted off.

I needs some help......one of my files has been infected by the Downloader-XC trojan. I have identified the file.......its I386\system32\mssearchnet.exe. Do you or anyone else know what the file is used for........I haven't tried to delete it yet but that's what I want to do unless its an important systems file. My security can't delete, quarantine or clean the file. They asked me to verify if its write-protected. I don't know how to do that nor do I know what it means.

Anyone have any ideas? TIA.
