ManyMoose, Good grief! I cannot imagine!

I have had gas station attendants put gas in my car while they were smoking a cigarette, which put the fear of God into me, and I (a cigarette-smoker) always spoke up to admonish them. I have had wiring problems which could have resulted in car fires, but never did. Well, maybe a little smoke here and there. There was that span of time when my 1967 XR-7 would try to start spontaneously, with no ignition key involved. Things like that. But I cannot imagine a gas station attendant so inattentive that he/she would forget to take the pump nozzle out of your gas tank before you drove off. Sort of makes me realize how really lucky I have been in my dealings with "dlots" of that "elk." - Holly
