I guess I'm more patriotic and less progressive than you are... and yes, more prejudiced towards US Citizens. Being patriotic means wanting Americans to earn more because they deserve it, not simply because they are Americans. We are capitalists and believe in equality of man - put those two together and your obligation as a patriot is to keep your population ahead of the productivity curve so that they can continue to get more for their labor. Americans remain amongst the hardest working people on the planet, but when others can do the same job for less pay, it's the American way to let them.
