When Bush & Co. break these laws it does not just preempt us, it also does that to the Senate and House members.
They may not really enjoy losing their powers.
For him to get away with his crap they have to dance with him.
I do not think that all of the Republicans in Congress like that role. They love their power as they should.
This will be exciting as we come closer to the 2006 elections.
