I suppose you would....

What is the basis for your supposition? You think Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. King got that sort of a treatment of 3 good meals, TV etc. when they were in jail? If they didn't, then why do you suppose I, yes me, would be advocating the treatment that you suppose for those who commit heinous crimes?

If you want to be a rabid partisan take it to some other thread. You are welcome to discuss issues with an open mind.

Morales' execution has been postponed. Now the state is required to go back to the judge who sentenced him to death for a fresh warrant. What do you think that judge will do?

I am proud that this society continues to be a civilized society. This society does not put a man to death based on a testimony which is a lie.

Keep it up California. Jeers to Gov. Arnold S.

that's the type of thing that has been said OVER AND OVER about various criminals....and then WE FIND THEY ARE INNOCENT 20 YEARS LATER....and that is happening OVER AND OVER....
that is why the death penalty is a crime in itself

The death penalty was supposed to deter crime. It hasn't worked. Crime is up. On top of that the use of the death penalty has increased the cost of delivering "justice".

The true conservative Christian position on the death penalty should be to eliminate it. Under Bush more people were executed in Texas than under any other Governor in history.
