I'm not really sure if it's good or bad for security. What I love to see though is how Bush didn't even know about it till yesterday, and neither did Rummy. But all of a sudden the administration thinks its a good idea. Meanwhile the republican leadership in Congress is not so sure.

In the middle of this storm you have your self appointed experts and Bush lovers here defending Bush for something he obviously knows noting about. He queried his staff and they all said they saw no problems...so he threatens a veto on Frist's motion.

Personally I think that Frist might be right in taking more time in looking at this matter. Bush certainly hasn't looked into it.
