Really. How hard could this possibly be for a development stage biotech? Two check signers, two accountants, and you're done.

I assume you are tongue-in-cheek, but if not in my dreams...it really is a nightmare. I cant speak for a bio firm, but in ours -- ugly. I do think a part of the issue is the legislation, and the other is that acct firms have become so cautious now that it is really having an impact on the bottom line -- it is not just accounting but also operational.
