Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men ? The Shadow Knows... and apparently some folks in government and on the bench... and even at that... if it's only lurking... Fortunately they have someone in custody for the murder you refer to. Unfortunately there are many many gay Murders that are unsolved, and the impression the police give when investigating them is that the victim probably somehow deserved it. There is also the still prevalent problem of drunken heterosexual youth prowling the country looking for kweers to beat up. Every year the are a couple dozen incidents in toronto of young men with bats of other sports implements jumping out of cars and bashing people whom they suspect of being gay. They are seldom solved, and often the victims are forever damaged. One young man who volunteers for the local AIDS group was bashed walking down a city street. His attackers were out on Parole before he was out of the hospital, and he is now considered mentally challenged, no one can compensate you for having you brain scrambled. His crime, he "looked Gay" their defense, we were drunk..... This is repeated in every city in Canada, often without mention or notice. If Gay young men suddenly took to crippling Heterosexual Youth, do you think they would be so gently treated?
