Jon, stamp, coin and old newspapers are of course of no interest. My collection of cellphones on the other hand will be of great interest and value to youngsters.

It's not very extensive, but I have got, let's see [opens the draw], 12 cellphones, including two Globalstar [Ericsson and QUALCOMM]. Plus 2 model phones and one musical fake [buttons go beep, beep when pressed]. 3 of my collection are currently in use.

I like my latest addition, which is a model [fake] Casio W21CDII 3G cyberphone from Au [KDDI] in Japan with "QUALCOMM 3G CDMA" pressed into the side [not just a sticky label]. Very swanky. No wonder they are selling like hot cakes in Japan, where they have loads of money.

I love seeing in NZ both Vodafone and Telecom advertizing CDMA [1xEV-DO for Telecom and W-CDMA for Vodafone] after years of Vodafone GSM eating my lunch.

Are you guys nuts? Stamp and coin collections are worth a fortune... even if you don't want them personally. I'll be happy to take any and everybodies parents coin collections... just send me a note and I'll give you a forwarding address. For everything else, there's one word.... Ebay.
