Yup, that's pretty hard to believe. Is that website the encyclopedia britannica from 1911!? That's pretty cool. Anyway, if those population numbers are accurate for the 1905 "Israel geography" as a whole (you said they were for 1905 Jerusalem), what's your explanation for the massive Arab opposition to the foundation of Israel? If the Israeli geography were 67% Jewish and 12% Arab, why did the neighboring Arabs have such a beef with it in 1947?

The next question you should ask yourself if the population was so small and majority of people living in Jerusalem were jews and on top of that Jordan got good chunk of Palestine then where did all the palestianian arabs came from?
