elroy speaking of not understanding English, is it your 1st language? it specifically said about immigration of palestinian arabs before 1948. 67% was about population of Jerusalem. And don't forget that Jordan is palestine as well. re: "the land that they consider their homeland" no, that is not what you said. You have posted a lot on that topic so do not be shy. But even if you said that in one of your posts then you should also consider the fact that jews consider Israel as their homeland. Even with 1967 borders arabs got most more than a half of palestine. In 1948 Israel was a peace of desert that was carved out of palestine and the rest was divided between Jordan and new Palestinian state. re: I have no problem pleading ignorance on many subjects! and yet you have very strong opinions on who should be doing what and why re: currently occuppied by Israel has historically been multi-ethnic and multi-religious and just few sentences back you said that you are ignorant of the history of the region re: and should remain as such it was never like that so why should it change. And per say I would not mind that but for a small fact that palestinians want to exterminate jews in the region. re: you don't support my proposed solution to the current problem experts who spent all their lives studying the region can find a solution and our ignorant elroy got one......
