Here are some links where I read that the UAE recognized the Taleban: is not even close to Message 22204546 Essentially their tack has been to say that everyone else in this country must be racist because we think that a country (UAE) that has stated that they still think the Taleban is the only legitimate gov't of Afghanistan isn't worthy of controlling our ports. The UAE did recognize the Taleban, as I posted to you, way back when the Taleban was in control in Afghanistan. They do not believe that the Taleban is still the only legitimate government of Afghanistan.
