Yes. They also seem to have the most rusting junker cars in each yard that I can recall. I suspect a link. :)

I wonder if a careful study would revel national traits correlated to whether it is maternal or paternal?

There seems to be about as much competition as I am aware of. Have you found some competition hiding somewhere that I haven't heard of? Where is it? What is it?

As I pointed out, there are a fair number of countries with different governments which I could live under. There are lots of currencies I can own, and easily trade. Thats also competition. Lack of competition is when you only have one. I don't see that at all.

In fact, America is largely peopled by individuals or their descendents who chose to leave one country and go to another, because they saw something more attractive in it. So at least one country is dominantly the result of competition in the marketplace of governments I would say. Same goes for the US $ AFAIK.

BTW, it's rude to tell people they "blather on". There's no need to be rude.
