I'm a peaceable man, but that is not a bad idea: take out the bad guys in good old wild-west fashion. If only they would stand up and fight like a man. Sneaky, no honor at all.

Personally, I'm quite sure the WMD are out there somewhere. There is quite a lot of talk these days that Saddam got them out with an eye to reconstituting after a second conclusion similar to that of the first Gulf War.

Sorry, I am very intolerant of bad guys that dream of 72 virgins and prevail on our freedom and tolerance to kill us and their own bretheren.

What the U.S. should do is make a public announcement for a period of five years we will no longer patrol the Pacific with our ships and submarines.

Then, when New Zealanders stop peeing their pants in fear of six pirate ships disrupting trade and threatening to take over the island, we should begin discussions on allowing our nuclear ships and submarines to dock there.

Dang, the state department needs me! ;-)
