I already replied to this question, regarding China, if you have read my previous postings. I think real security and a real War on Terrorism means we should have American firms running our ports. I know it's not foolproof, but it beats taking our chances with foreigners which may or may not have our best interests in mind.

The government just told us last month that the War on Terrorism is so serious that they must ignore the Constitution and 4th Ammendment and spy without warrants. Well if that is indeed true, then it seems as if port security should be taken just as seriously or else we will have nobody but our pigheaded selves to blame if we get hit again because our ports are being run by people who may mean us harm.
