Again a large improvement. Afghanistan isn't going to be Luxemburg. The improvements are compared to its previous dire state.

There is growing evidence that things in Afghanistan are worsening, not getting better. Just this past week there were a couple of bombings and a prison riot where some Taliban escaped.

Remember you took this same position over a year ago about Iraq............and we know now that you were wrong.
