Yes, and recycling according to the new CA laws requiring certification of the plants doing this is now big and advanced business in California.

I only recently was taken on a tour at one of those plants and I was just over whelmed. never could imagine that this is that well organized and how much know how is invested in the systematic processing and recycling of the materials dumped.

The place I visited is M-Cubed LLC in Sunnyvale. Check their web site m-cubed.com

Ted, Someone said tonite that CA has a new law....you pay for disposal of your tv when you buy it?

Haven't yet bought a TV in California, though I'm looking for a plasma-screen these days.
