This company is OWNED by the UAE government, a government which has allowed widespread use of its country's banks, airlines and other facilities by Al Qaida members, including 9-11 hijackers. These Arabs may play ball with us now for financial reasons, or because they too fear AL Qaida, but don't forget that the majority of people in that region strongly oppose the US and have some sympathy with Al Qaida.

My own personal experience confirms this. The Arab Prince's executive assistant I spoke to in December '01 in London told me that "all the guys in Dubai knew something big was coming" against the US, that is all the rich Arab playboys knew AL Qaida was going to hit us. But they any of them try to stop it? Nope. And did Bush try to stop it after he got warned?

And how how money has Bush-CSX-UAE crony Carlyle Group made off of "the war on terror"? Tens of billions. In fact they even bought the company that makes baggage screeners at airports THREE MONTHS BEFORE 9-11. So be aware, sometimes Bushies have strange bedfellows. For profit.

The Coast Guard works for the Bush admin. What they said is about as close as they can come to saying UAE ownership is a threat. It took guts just to do that, and will probably still cost some careers there. Apparently Bush hasn't staffed the operation with Brownies yet.

They provide some of the security AT the ports, and ON the cargo.
