I talked to a fellow at the local Veteran's Club who is a Republican and he said that he felt William Buckley was the smartest man on earth. Buckley recently said that the war in Iraq was not winnable and we should pull out immediately. We predicted that scenario thousands of funerals ago! Kerry's words are becoming more meaningful........," How do you ask someone to be the last man to die for a lost cause." ( that quote may be slightly off in wording but the meaning is that same as the original)
