But check the numbers. Now, single women raising children on their own are in the hordes. There used to be relatively few of them. Very few. And their families helped, adopted etc. I preferred the "Brutish" world of old, where murder was a rarity, knifings negligible, burglaries almost irrelevant and I never heard of children being tortured and killed. That was achieved with a tiny fraction of the resources we have now. So imagine how good things could be now with all the resources. Not even an hour's work can buy a calculator. I used to have to work for ages for a week's food. Now food is a small portion of incomes. In the old days, work was to put food on the table, now it's to buy Made in China consumer electronics. That includes for the "poor" who are often obese - it's hilarious that the "poor" are obese. Throughout history "the poor" had their ribs sticking out, not layers of lard. They barely had clothes. Now "the poor" have zero problem with clothes. The welfare world is brutal, cold and venal. That's your world, paid for by me. That's not my world. Vote for it and you vote for child torture and death. Another part of the problem is that stupid women think they don't need men. Fatherless boys are the BIG problem. Women boot the bloke for what seems good reason to them. Then they wonder why their offspring go off the rails. It's carnage out there. Women should do their job better and select decent blokes in the first place. If they can't find one, don't drag in some welfare thug to be a sperm donor to get a meal ticket, then toss him and get a "room mate" random male to help with rent. Women are doing a terrible job of their primary purpose. The denigration of motherhood is at fault along with the welfare systems. Mqurice
