Kabloonka is the best book on the Alaska north I have ever read and actually in the top ten of all times! It is a real page turner. a real sleeper. It is about a 42 year old French intellectual who is "tired of completeing other peoples sentences and goes to live with the eskimoes in the 1930's. He talks about how they can go for ever and then consume 50 lbs of raw meat. How incredibly tough they are. I am communicating with sentient beings from outer space right now so I cannot remember the reason for this post-lol.
