You keep ignoring what I write. The Coast Guard basically has the ability to monitor, intercept and inspect boats. They have zero ability to determine relationships between foreign corporations and terrorists. The Coast Guard has about as much ability to tell whether Al Qaeda has close ties to foreign company XYZ as do you or I. Got it?

Don't you think the PROVIDERS OF THE SECURITY AT THE PORT should have any input?

As I understand it the Coast Guard signed off on the deal, with the caveat that they have no idea of the relationship (or lack thereof) between terrorists and Dubai Ports.

Are you too dumb to see this?

I'm too dumb to see why you can't understand this when I've written in 6 or 7 times.....

Here's what they said

"There are many intelligence gaps concerning the potential for DPW or P&O assets to support terrorist operations that precludes an overall threat assessment of the potential merger," a Coast Guard report on the potential deal stated.

If your point is that no foreign corporations should manage US ports, make the case. If your point is that Dubai should not manage US ports, the Coast Guard has not made your case, as the same gaps they have with Dubai exist with EVERY foreign corporation or entity that operates the ports.
