The 1918 pandemic flu was spread because of the war - when soldiers came back they spread it like the plague. Soldiers were stacked in military bases sleeping in close quarters and it spread fast among themselves, then they brought it back to teh USA. History could repeat itself. Bird flu was found in Iraq.
