The video also exposes yet another blatant Bush lie "No one anticipated that the levies would break"! But the video clearly shows that he was explicitly TOLD the levies would likely break before Katrina hit. The video also shows Brown ringing the alarm bell and asking for a maximum effort he didn't get. Bush let the NO Dem blacks drown...

Bush is a really worthless POS. It looks like Kane West had it EXACTLY right, Bush just doesn't care about blacks.

If this doesn't sink this f*cking little fundamentalist troll we're saddled with as a president, I don't know what will.

I'm amazed he allowed such a video tape to be kept around. Rove and Bush's other backers must have been *really* careless, or confident.

You have surely noticed how little trail Bush normally leaves (no cell phone calls, etc.)

On the other hand, he's wriggled out of accountability every time, through combinations of luck and cunning. Maybe this time it'll be no different.

The saddest part of the tape is that bush looks so competent. Like DOD in iraq, the folks in positions of authority let the president down. But that is no excuse. The real reason that the bush admin has failed is that folks in positions of authority were apparently often not competent and that the president never holds anyone accoutable. Both these traits are what did him in. If he had better people or people who were more expert in the field running the show, this may never have happened in either iraq or new orleans or now with the UAE fiasco. If Bush were a ceo, he would be forced to resign. We can only hope that over the next three years he takes what he has learned and tries to govern more effectively and changes failing policies regardless of political cost and fires folks who fail.
