I'm with Sofaspud on this critical issue, although the only connection I see with oil sands is that Starbucks dark roasts taste like delayed coker blowdown water while Timmy's is more like vacuum bottoms. ;)

OK Sofa I'm with you on the second cup... Tims like all of them suffers from the water they use. I found a few locations in Kingston crappy. Second cup is not nearly as bad or pretentious as Starbucks. They do suffer from the 'cold coffee' syndrome also but apparently some folks like that :O) Me I love the raspberry chocolate :O) My rub against SC is (I used to patronise one daily ) was when they cut the loyalty programme ... as my buddy Sexton says... INSTANT 10% price hike and worse... it targets the most loyal customers... They could run our government easily LOL. I would have preferred to see a price hike and leave the loyalty program.

Just brewed a fresh pot of Paradiso Dark That is what I get except for the few times they might have the raspberry chocolate :O) It's great when hot :O)
