They were outbid by the foreign governments of Singapore and UAE. No private concern can compete on a level playing field with companies backed by wealthy foreign governments.

Not my point.... My point was FAIR and FREE TRADE: Stand up for Capitalism and free markets, don't let FOREIGN GOVERNMENT OWNED 'businesses' bid on critical infrastructure projects state-side... unless and until US companies are allowed to do exactly the same in those foreign lands. No more Uncle Sucker. That's not 'Protectionist', that's simply standing up for equal market access for OUR COMPANIES.
