Wrong. Kerry did the wrong "thing". Kerry did not address the issues, he stonewalled the release of his medical records and then did not completely release them. He should have done so immediately. Kerry made many bad decisions.

Your bogus scenario that he would have had to drop the issues is stupid. The extremist position you always take may explain your failures.

His only other choice was to hold a press conference, stop all talk of jobs, health care and other crucial issues, and concentrate on having a mock kangaroo trial of himself where he pleads innocent to all the phony smearvet charges.

All Kerry had to do is tell the truth. what is so hard about that? Call the liars...liars and get on with it. But you do that in the first week of the attack...not a month later. Sure you get your boatmates on board and let them do the talking and they did speak admirably of Kerry. But it was all too little and too late.
