I can give 3 examples. 1. Someone will put up a letter in your mail box to congratulate you win a HK lottery. The money will be yours if you are willing to pay for the tax said 1000 yuan to a account first. After you send in the money, usually a new request for another thousand will come. There is one guy put up total 20,000 yuan and still see no winning money. Those bank account usually open by using fake personal ID card and close very quickly before you can trace them down. 2. Some people will set up a website looking exact like the official site. (ICBC may look like 1CBC instead). When people log in the account, they copy your account number, passcode and make a new fake ATM card. The next day all your money in the bank is withdrew. 3. There are poster on the wall promise you will be hired for salary of 3000 yuan per month for a hotel job. But, before you get the job, you need to stand outside XYZ hotel. They will evaluate you behind the door. Of course, you will get a you are hired congratulation letter or call which will instruct you to deposit 300 yuan uniform fees to a account before everything is settle. After you did that, they are gone. Also, there are widespread vandal going on. Public properties which carry certain value like iron chair or bar will be stolen by the migrate people quickly. When you ride the bus or train, you may be robbed by the gang with a knife who jump into the train or bus in rural stop ask your wallet and money.
