Then don't be a doubting Thomas. Americans can change their habits, but there has to be leadership at the top, positive role models, not Big Oil cronies running things. Bush-Cheney-Delay are really the last thing we need as leaders now. All bought and paid for by big oil and polluters. But they do not represent anything close to majority opinion in this country on energy and the environment. In fact, they hoodwinked the system to get into power in the first place.
