Women in Iraq had substantially more rights than they do now.

Everyone under a dictatorship has zero "rights". Maybe you mean their lives were easier, opportunities were greater or something else. But what Iraqis had under Saddam cannot be described as "rights", other than the right to shut up unless ordered to speak by their interrogator.

Amy, You need to get more exposure to international countries and live in a foreign country and experience what THEY experience when we invade THEIR culture with our violent movies, mcdonald's, pornography, and other capitalistic illnesses.

You forgot one of the most "obscene" Western ideals in the minds of Islamic fundamentalists: equal rights and opportunity for women.

I won't bother to respond to any of your other points. I think you've made way too many faulty assumptions about me and my viewpoint, and I really don't want to start a flame war with you.
