Everyone seems to view the Mullahs unfavorably. But it was Jimmy Carter and the Shah that found them revolting.

The terrorist President of Iran seems to be a lightening rod for criticism. The mullahs would not allow many candidates to run, and so this terrorist ended up on top.

I agree that cappuccino sipping kids are unlikely to be the heroes of the revolution, but one never knows. I expect that it will require external force to dissuade Iran from their nuclear ambitions. It is clear that America is unlikely to lead that charge. We know it will not be any from the coalition of the bribed by Iraq.
