Okey dokey.......then how come the DC area is classified right up there with the known great "bubble" markets?

Real estate is slowing everywhere, probably....but for different reasons in different areas, in some cases at least.

And I'm not a Realtor, no what what your impression happens to be. Stopped paying my dues several years ago. Right now I'm a common, ordinary homeowner who is spending time on the computer gathering info in order to appeal what I consider to be a definitely erroneous and unjustified property tax assessment, which arrived in the mail last week.

I notice that the county assessor's office has made this appeal process purposely difficult and obscure, but I hope to prevail in some small way. I can appraise a property just about as well as the assessor, who has never seen my house. <<gg>>

"The DC area doesn't reflect America, but it does drain America like a vampire."

Good one Chris. That one tops my DC joke from last week by a mile. Hope LiveSail sees it..
