No one speaks honestly to arabs, and their leaders are no exception.

You kidding? Pentagon had to pay bribes to Arab papers in order to make them publish some truthful information.... ;~)

What strikes me - and what few people talk about - is that if Iran gets nukes, then our entire effort in Iraq will be made totally meaningless. We will have denied Saddam the chance of presiding over a (hostile) nuclear superpower -- and what for? So that the nutty Iranian leadership would get their hand on the button anyway?

That's why I think this will not be allowed to happen. And this time there is pretty much a global consensus that they must be stopped.
