EDIT below
Even the russianss backed down when the US didnt buy into their last give away to iran re: enrichment.
I do think it important that any military move be seen as having a world wide coalition behind it. I dont think we should do it alone as in iraq and without support. If the euros want this done, they should back us 100% even if we do the heavy lifting as always. Perhaps it can be a NATO action. Iranians cant be allowed to be misled into thinking that they can peel off the euros and further isolate us. And although russian support isnt mandatory in my view, it would be nice to have them and the chinese onboard even if only to abstain in UN votes. Iran must be made to look in the mirror and realize they are all alone. West is against them, russians and chinese dont give them support and the arabs they know want them neutered. But i am thinking its better to live thru the danger of iran nukes than to bail the euros out again and again and get bitch slapped for our efforts.

edit When i said we shouldnt do it alone, i meant that. If the euros get weak kneed, i dont think the US should do this alone. The euros are the ones who are more greatly threatened because iranian rockets can hit euro targets. What israel does in this case, i do not know.
