Tell that to Clinton. He didn't go the route of the UN in solving the Serbian/Albanian issue did he? He went to NATO. We live in tough times and those times call for a strengthened UN with teeth. Kerry said it best recently. We need to focus on strenghtening the UN and giving it teeth. But if we can't do that, then we need to create a different UN. I've often talked about a UDN. United Democratic Nations. The rest of the non-Democratic world doesn't really deserve a vote because they don't believe in the same things we do. Trying to build a body that helps bring peace and prosperity in this world is a fools errand under the current UN. It will never happen.
