OT: I hope Kerry doesn't run again too. There are many better alternatives (Hagel for the GOP, Warner for the DEMs are examples).

Kerry's issues (nuclear proliferation, port security, fiscal responsibility) are still being ignored today. And Kerry couldn't have been worse than Bush on Iraq.

Folks I talked to didn't like Kerry because he came off as an arrogant elitist who was out of touch with what the people wanted. Bush was/is very likeable and succesfully reached out to the common man/woman, who isn't very bright to begin with. Let's face facts here. When you vote for the most powerful man in the world based on his abortion views, or what your church told you, you're a moron. That's all there is to it. Being a moron doesn't have to be a bad thing either. There are lots of other morons to hang out with!

I have followed Kerry a bit as well since the election. He has shown no leadership qualities. Bush is a great leader. The only problem is Bush is leading this country in about as wrong a direction as we could go. Other countries are starting to actively work against us, a DIRECT result of Bush's many foreign policy screwups. I voted for Bush but now wish he and Cheney would step down and go away. History will not be kind to them.
