The thing is, the Jews in Israel don't want to live in NZ. I think what Mq is saying is that the door is always open if they decide that now isn't the best time to live in Israel. The "right of return" and all that are religious concepts. Mq doesn't "do" religion. He's too rational. OTOH -- I don't think the "right of return" is relevant to Israel in 2001. And I don't expect the entire country to give up existence just because some Muslims don't want them to live there. I am reading Bob Baer's "Sleeping With the Devil." According to him, the Muslim Brotherhood doesn't think Jerusalem is important to Islam. They care about Mecca and Medina, and think that pretending that Jerusalem is important to the faith is actually wrong.

<they want the country to be run by Jews> Note that Jews are pulling out of Gaza. Think of "Fiddler on the Roof" in which the wayward offspring wouldn't marry quite right. There is built into races leakage around the edge, like a black hole event horizon leaking via Hawking radiation. Maintaining racial purity and a Jewish state might be very tricky in the long run. Just as running a Maori system is going to fail in the end when people are all Maoris. They'll have to invent some other system or limit shareholdings in Maoridom to approved "Maoris". Meanwhile, Israel can shrink the borders, with dinkum Jews constantly moving into smaller enclaves to maintain a good majority to maintain political power. They might have to ban miscegenation. Introduce segregation. Religion is such a curse. Mqurice
