Are you asking if anyone got married as a result of the war? Nope, the Iraq "war" ended long ago. I'm just making the point that the things which make the news (usually killings) may not be reflective of normal daily Iraqi life. I saw some piece on CNN a week or so ago where the reporter was walking around some Iraqi shopping area and surprised how totally normal things were. Then you hear that 18 people were executed on a bus somewhere else. John seems to think that all the unreported stuff is murder x 10 of what gets reported. It may be that the reported stuff over emphasizes the negative, and de-emphasizes the positive.
