I think you know as well as I do that Bush gives lots of mileage--too much!--to those who are inside and close; to those who, say, contributed for his fight in Florida, his inauguration, his dad's library, etc. Whether prescription drugs, mining and timber rights or good 'ole oil deals if you're GOPwinger-tight, you're gonna get greased. Abramoff's plum, for example, was the Indian casino deals--and he was richly rewarded; Cunningham's (among others') plum, in further example, was the defense contracts; Ken Lay's plum was GOPwinger help to renegotiate with the Taliban the rights for the Afghanistan pipeline to connect into Enron's failed gas plant in India--hey, the list goes on. And, who knows, maybe Jeff Gannon/Jim Guckert (whatever his name is!) was a bonsus to the sickness of it all.

One thing I do know, and that is the genuine well-believing folk who have sat in church pews have only been thrown bones, and not the real dog meal.

I'll tell ya, Hawk, this present GOPwinger Administration is one sick crowd--and Lee Atwater (Rover's godfather) who repented while on his deathbed, just must be a wonderin' why no one seriously considered his confession at the end.

Oh, well--'nough of my Friday Night, beer-soaked rant--lol!

Enjoy the weekend!!!
