Considering that Islam derives much of its beliefs from both Judaism and Christianity, I'd say you're misinterpreting the religion as its sometimes practiced and the underlying spiritual basis for the belief. This is not to say that I believe Muhammad was a prophet. But I do acknowledge that he intended to foster an Arab version of the previous faiths which was quite progressive considering the brutality of that day and age. Religions are creating by men.. Interpretations they derive from a spiritual text or foundation, that they use to justify their own human desires (whether aggressive or pacifist). Hawk
