We already won. The war was to get rid of Saddam-regime change. All the documents, tapes, interviews with Iraqs now show that Saddam intent was to cooperate with Terrorists, create WMD, etc.

Now the matter is over as to Saddam's Iraq. The rest is up to the Iraqs. We are there to give them a chance to make a country and government. We trained an army and police and have prevented total sectarian /civil war and intervention by neighbors. But we are about done in my opinion and it is up to the Iraqs to now rebuild and create a Country. If they don't succeed and their is more regionalization , civil war or whatever that is their problem. Sure we created the opportunity for a new country or a failed country. But if the country fails in any number of ways, that is beyond us. Look at WW2. Half of Europe was lost to communism. Did we win? Sure we won the war but the post war was beyond us. One must know one's limitations. 20000 troops and airpower left in a base in Iraq along with special forces should be enough to fight the continuing WOT over there which is a low level conflict which will outlive us all.Thesame as in Afghan.

Wrong Hawk. If you are going to beg for a question beg for this one. Wouldn't Iraq be better off with secular Saddam and the status quo between Sunnis and Shiites right now as we are heading into a showdown with Iran, rather than how things are now and Iraq in the hands of Iranian mullahs and islamic fundamentalists?
