Have you ever seen a US President win a war by giving speeches? I thought wars are won through proper planning, not delegating it to the generals but instead discharging the duties of a Commander-in-Chief and making it a decision based on the political and military issues. I would think our founding fathers vested the power to conduct a war in the President since they realized that the President decides about issues related to a war. But huh. This President thinks he can win the war by listening to the field generals and going around the country making speeches. What a damn circus this has become. Saddam would gladly have killed Osama. Osama was a threat to Saddam's secular materialistic regime. Saddam's butchery was 90% aimed at Islamic fundamentalist types. So obviously you and your rightwing sources are totally full of crap. If Bushies had one iota of evidence Osama and Saddam were pals they'd have broadcast it all over the earth three years ago. But there is no such evidence, just disinformation which creeps like you repeat to try and perpetrate and protect the BIG LIE of the Bushies, that war with Iraq was about national defense or counter-terrorism.
