Ahaahha starts with a false premise, then leaps to a silly conclusion and then bans to avoid replies. I earned my living in the oil industry [Texaco Canada and BP Oil International]. < This is a typical 'crat kind of reasoning. First you start out with a prejudice. The prejudice is programmed and in this case it's "oil companies are evil". >

The oil industry produces and sells oil.

There were major faults such as selling petrol with lead in it, and there could well be a class action suit for knowingly harming brain development. But that was more a political failing by politicians than evil by oil.

It was the job of politicians to protect the commons and few people understand the amount of harm that was done by lead in petrol, including those who should have understood the harm. Evil requires knowledge of the harm, normally for unreasonable self-advantage.
