Makes me think the oversupply is great and was unanticipated just a few short months ago. Kind of like the insatiable demand for telecom equipment six years seemed to change overnight. Now they have an incredible problem on their hands when you add in competition from speculators/investors and a buyers strike

"immediate move in" and such are not new- its just that they haven't had many unsold homes in the past. Centex had a bunch of immediate move-in homes available in Ca. Central Valley but it looks like they cleared that out w/ their 12 hour sale and so the "imediate move- in" link is gone.
