We had 7 PEOPLE killed in auto accidents just in our County alone over the weekend. I was thinking, boy, and they complain about Iraq? If one were a foreign journalist and wanted to report about America the way ours report about Iraq it would be easy to make this place out to be a war zone. jdn

I think that *motive* comes into play, not just the death toll.

War (civil, or otherwise) has goals, motives, political objectives... whereas 'random' traffic deaths do not.
